Love of the interconnectedness of the whole world - all of nature's living and nonliving parts.
"One of the penalties of an ecological education," Aldo Leopold wrote, "is that one lives alone in a world of wounds". At Cranberry Clinic Mental Health Practice, my work supporting healthy ecological relationships and non-agentic thinking spans two decades of experience teaching and organizing groups, individuals, and families celebrate their love of the natural world. Prior to my work as a therapist I co-founded and directed a farmers' market for 9 years in my local area. Through the market we collected 430 disused bicycles and shipped them to West Africa where infrastructure is challenging. Bicycles support growers and medical workers living in these rural areas. Subsequently I taught in an ecologically based school, writing and designing curriculum, working teaching children and young teens. As a fully licensed therapist I currently specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief related to climate change, natural disasters, species and habitat loss, solastalgia, and ecological issues.
Welcome to my therapy practice! Please contact me to schedule a session. I look forward to working with you.
